ParentSquare recently announced that they have just added a new feature called Smart Two-Way Translation. This new feature allows educators to communicate with non-English speaking families in real-time. Smart Two-Way Translation ensures that messages sent by teachers and administrators are received by families in their preferred language. Not only that, but when non-English speaking parents write back to the teacher or administrator in their native language, the message is translated back into English before being received by the school.

It basically works like this:
- A teacher or administrator sends a direct message in English out to parents.
- The parents receive that message in the language of their choice.
- The parents can then reply to the message in their preferred language.
- Lastily, the teacher or administrator receives the parents’ reply in English.
